    This opening is for a Full Stack Developer to join our team in creating and maintaining several small to large web applications and education websites. You will work with Project Managers and the Development Team to bring client projects from ideas to reality.Your primary focus will be programming application logic in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL utilizing popular frameworks like Drupal, Laravel, and Angular.


    Serious candidates will be asked to complete an assessment to evaluate their web development abilities.



    • Execute development tasks based on requirements/user stories (PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript).
    • Functions as the primary developer for one or many projects
    • Periodically updates production applications
    • Works with HTML and CSS
    • Estimates/scores development tasks and user stories
    • Architects simple to moderately complex programming solutions within boundaries of project budgets
    • Communicates programming concepts with technical and non-technical team members
    • Spends a portion of time in project meetings with internal and external team members
    • Demonstrates above-average problem-solving skills
    • Stays engaged in the understanding and mastering of various software design methodologies and programming patterns
    • Stays engaged in the understanding and execution of various project methodologies like Scrum and Agile


    • 2 Years of Experience
    • A degree in computer science or related field
    • A positive attitude and a commitment to quality work
    • Mastery of object-oriented programming
    • Above-average to excellent SQL abilities
    • Ability to collaborate with other developers on shared projects
    • A knack for problem solving
    • Ability to work within existing code (including frameworks and libraries)
    • Familiarity with version control software (Git)
    • Must demonstrate competency in PHP and/or JavaScript
    • Experience with RESTful interfaces, AJAX, and JSON
    • Proficient in HTML and CSS
    • Working knowledge of Linux and Apache


    The following items are not required, however, are strongly preferred.


    • Experience working on development teams
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
    • Experience with MVC frameworks (Angular, BackboneJS, VueJS)
    • Experience with LESS/SASS
    • Knowledge of popular PHP frameworks (Drupal, WordPress, CodeIgniter, Laravel, Zend)
    • Experience with continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson, Travis CI)
    • Experience with AWS
